The Lizberries at the Millennium Pub in Sesto San Giovanni: A Special Evening

The Lizberries returned to the stage at the Millennium Pub in Sesto San Giovanni for an evening we’ll remember for a long time. Our tribute to the Cranberries brought us a packed house, tons of excitement, and the joy of finally being able to play… just a few minutes from home.

To be precise, just a fifteen-minute drive.

It almost didn’t seem real.

After years of loading up our instruments and traveling hundreds of kilometers to bring the Cranberries’ music all over Italy and abroad, getting to a concert in such a short time was something truly special.

Playing close to home has a special value

Every now and then, someone has told us that playing far from home is just “a whim.”

Once, someone in the industry even wrote that to us.

We, however, have always thought differently.

We believe a band should travel, discover new places, and meet different people. Since 2011, we’ve been bringing our tribute to The Cranberries to many cities, convinced that music should reach everywhere.

That’s why being able to finally share all of this so close to home moved us even more.

The Millennium Pub: a little piece of Ireland in Sesto San Giovanni

Stepping into the new Millennium Pub was a surprise.

The venue is spacious yet cozy, with attention to every detail, and it successfully recreates a genuine Irish atmosphere.

The furniture, carpeting, wallpaper, and traditional decor immediately evoke Ireland, while the waiters in kilts round out a truly authentic experience.

The stage won us over, too.

It was designed like a small Irish living room, with a central cabinet, nightstands, table lamps, books, and a set design rich in detail.

The most fun part?

When we opened the nightstands, we discovered that… the audio connections for the instruments were hidden inside!

An original idea that made us smile and shows just how much care has been put into this venue.

For a moment, it really felt like we were back in Ireland.

After all, our next Tour of Ireland on September 3, 4, 5, and 6, 2026, an event that’s particularly close to our hearts—and we’d like to share our brochure with you, featuring travel ideas for those days.

A sold-out concert dedicated to The Cranberries

Our greatest joy came when we saw the venue completely packed.

We sold out.

The audience included friends, people who had long wanted to come hear us play, new fans who discovered us thanks to this very evening, and many enthusiasts who follow us on YouTube.

At the end of the concert, we had the pleasure of talking with so many people.

Each one had a story to tell.

The audience welcomed us with enthusiasm, engagement, and so much affection.

And that’s exactly what makes every concert different from the next.

The words that moved us the most

Of all the encounters that evening, a few words have stayed with us.

One person told us:

“It’s clear that you perform this tribute with great skill, striving to be similar and faithful to the original but without imitating them. That’s what makes you special.”

It’s one of the most beautiful compliments we could ever receive.

Because our goal has never been to imitate The Cranberries, but to bring their music to the stage with the utmost respect.

Then a young woman—who had already come to see us in the pouring rain the previous week in Bosisio Parini—approached Cristina to tell her about a dream.

She told Cristina she’d dreamed of Dolores O’Riordan and felt the urge to share a simple message with her:

“Dolores told me to tell you that you’re doing a great job, to keep it up, and not to give up.”

During a challenging time musically speaking, those words touched us deeply.

Sometimes it really doesn’t take much to find new energy.

Bringing the music of The Cranberries from the heart

We’re always pleased when someone tells us we’re good or that our tribute is faithful to the original.

But what really makes us proud is hearing that our passion reaches the audience.

When people tell us they can feel the harmony among us, that every song is played naturally, and that The Cranberries’ music continues to move them, we realize that all the work we’ve put in over the years truly has meaning.

That’s why we keep taking the stage.

Irish music, dance, and a touch of madness

As is often the case during our concerts, there were plenty of fun moments.

During “Loud and Clear,” Kry invited her longtime Irish dance teacher onto the stage, treating the audience to an impromptu performance.

The only minor hiccup?

The stage’s gorgeous carpet… definitely not ideal for sliding your feet across!

We had a blast.

A special thanks also goes to all the students at the Gens d’Ys Academy in Monza, who chose to celebrate their last meeting before the summer break with us right here at the Millennium Pub.

Words we’ll carry with us for a long time to come.

It’s evenings like this that remind us why we keep making music and why we love bringing our tribute to The Cranberries to the stage.
