Everybody Else Is Doing It: The Cranberries' dream returns
May 30, 2026
The return of an extraordinary album
Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?
by The Cranberries has just returned in a new deluxe remastered edition. With him the voice of Dolores O’Riordan has returned, the light of the nineties, the sense of something fragile and precious at the same time. A debut album which, thirty years later, has lost none of its strength.
On the evening of May 21st, Andrea Rock dedicated a special on Virgin Radio to this album. Not a simple radio program — a true emotional immersion that took us back into that universe.
The Dolores album we loved the most
For Cristina of the Lizberries this is probably the best album in the entire Cranberries discography. Yet it was also the one discovered last.
Like many fans, the first encounter with the band came through Zombie. The real breakthrough came with Bury The Hatchet — the album that opened the door to everything that had come before. One step at a time, back in time, until 1993.
When the time came to listen to the debut, it was an immediate love at first sight. Without reservations.
The first song was I Still Do. Those evanescent and suspended sounds, crossed by the delicate scratch of rock. Dolores’ voice - crystalline, ethereal, with those vocalizations that seem to emerge from an ancient, almost Celtic background. It was pure love. And it still is today.
The setlist of the special crossed the album with care: Dreams, Sunday, the sinuous Pretty, Waltzing Back, Linger, Not Sorry. And then the more hidden gems — Reason, Wanted, Still Can’t… Recognize, Put Me Down.
Among all, one song deserves a special mention: Them. Rarely cited, rarely performed — yet extraordinary in its arrangement. A song that the Lizberries would love to perform on stage one day.
The album closes with How — almost an emotional resolution. As if Dolores, after all the wounds and doubts, was finally ready to leave that story behind and launch herself towards her dreams. The episode then closed with a further gem: Liar.
The special on Virgin Radio: when and where
The special aired on May 21, 2026 on Virgin Radio, hosted by Andrea Rock.
The pretext was the release of the new deluxe remastered edition of the album — but the result was something more: an emotional journey inside the album that marked the beginning of an extraordinary career.

Dolores was just nineteen when she wrote these songs. Yet he already knew it all—the pain, strength, and grace needed to transform every emotion into music.
We continue to carry it with us every time we go on stage. You can find all our upcoming concerts and updates on our blog.
Because some songs never get old. And some records never stop belonging to us.
